Emotional First Aid Kit

The EFA Kit is a personal toolkit designed to help you care for your emotional wellbeing before a crisis hits.
It combines small physical reminders, self-care rituals, and guided practices to help you build resilience, manage stress, and maintain emotional hygiene in everyday life.

It’s for anyone who wants to understand and strengthen their emotional health — individuals, parents, students, educators, and professionals alike.
You don’t need a diagnosis to start caring for your mind. The kit is your starting point for emotional fitness, mindfulness, and self-kindness.

Each kit contains three key components:

  • Principles – timeless insights for thriving in the modern world.
  • Processes – simple daily rituals that recharge your mind.

• • People – prompts and reflections to help you connect with five essential conversations: the Cheerleader, Nanny, Mentor, Partner-in-Crime, and Critic.

The EFA Kit is not a substitute for therapy. It’s a preventive and supportive tool that helps you develop emotional awareness, maintain daily balance, and seek help early if needed. Think of it as a first-aid box for your mind — not a hospital, but an essential first step toward care.

Absolutely! Many people gift it to friends, family, colleagues, or students.
It’s a thoughtful way to say, “Take care of your mind too.”

The 10K–10H Impact is our collective goal to place 10,000 kits in 10,000 hands by World Mental Health Day 2026.
It’s our way of spreading awareness, compassion, and emotional hygiene across homes, schools, and workplaces.

The Academy was founded by Sunita K. Mani, a psychotherapist, educator, and storyteller dedicated to changing the mental-health narrative of India.
Her vision is simple: to make emotional care as common as physical first aid.
